It's the weekend! I woke up feeling pretty good today, but it was so funny that I dreampt about my dream man of a different race that I wrote about lastnight. He was soooo handsome, so sweet, and he was hot! So today I know that I can be attracted to a man of another race. My horizons just got a little broader! Now it's just a matter of meeting him.
I feel a lot better about the loss of a person I thought was my friend. I am almost amazed at how over the years I have adapted a ritual of how to do it. I have always known when I was going to have to cut a person off, and when I did, I usually did not ever look back. Unfortunately, that doesn't work on family--lol! Over my lifetime there have been so many that have come and gone. So many that I just had to cut loose before they took me down with them. There is a season for everything. You live, learn, and hopefully grow. I wish that for them just like I wish that for myself and my children.
Although my favorite place to be is at home, I also love going out. I love meeting people and having stimulating conversation. It's not always about meeting men, but that is always a plus:-) I am going to a gathering at a friend's house and I am thinking about what I am going to wear. I am sure to come up with something, but I was thinking about the etiquette. Am I supposed to bring something? I've been taught that you always bring at least a bottle of wine for the hostess, and flowers if you want to do it big. Only thing is that this is like an indoor/outdoor party. I'll look on the Martha Stewart website. She always knows what to do:-)
